It’s all over at the Olympic Stadium! Hansi Flick runs onto the pitch to embrace Raphinha. For a long time it looked Borja Iglesias would be the matchwinner; he scored a hat-trick to put Celta Vigo 3-1 up, but Barcelona roared back and won it through a 98th-minute penalty from Raphinha.

Raphinha has won it for Barcelona! A penalty was awarded by VAR for a foul on Dani Olmo, and Raphinha put it away to complete a remarkable – potentially season-defining - comeback from 3-1 down. It was a superb penalty, blasted high into the net, and Barcelona are celebrating uncontrollably. They are now seven points clear of Real Madrid, who have an awkward game in hand at home to Athletic Club.

Brentford stay in contention for a European place next season with a fine win over Brighton. Eighth should be good enough, and today’s results mean Brentford are three points behind Bournemouth in that position.

A stinker, by all accounts. But it’s a decent result for Palace, who stood firm after Chris Richards’ red card at the start of the second half. After conceding 10 goals in two games, a clean sheet will be most welcome.

City move up to fourth after late goals from Nico O’Reilly and Mateo Kovacic. With the games they have coming, it’s hard to see them missing out of the Champions League now.

I say! Lesley Ugochukwu has equalised for Southampton with a brilliant volley. That could give Southampton their 11th point of the season, which would equal Derby’s record low total in 2007-08.

And Dani Olmo has given Barcelona a lifeline, running onto Raphinha’s nice through ball to score with his left foot.

A big goal at Goodison Park. Nico O’Reilly, who is emerging as the unlikely hero of City’s season, has put them ahead with a smart close-range finish from Matheus Nunes’s excellent cross.

Barcelona’s defending was astonishingly bad: one long punt from the back put Borja – who started inside his own half – away from the defence and through on goal. He approached Szczesny and dinked the ball daintily into the corner. Lovely finish, hideous defending.

Brentford 3-1 Brighton A nice moment at the Gtech Stadium: Brentford’s Rico Henry, who has played barely ten minutes of Premier League football since September 2023, has come on as substitute.

Palace 0-0 Bournemouth Apart from the red card, the highlight of this game is probably Justin Kluivert pulling Ismaila Sarr’s shorts down at the start of the second half. No idea what he was doing.

Borja Iglesias gets his second! He ran through on goal after some farcical defending and, though the angle was tight, Iglesias rammed a low shot into the far corner.
